#118 Full-time vs. Part-time vs. Online vs. Executive MBA – Which is the Right MBA for You?

“Full-time programs require you to leave your job, move to a different geography, and leave a lot of things behind – they open up a new environment and world. Part-time, online and EMBA programs allow you to continue working, allow you to stay in your geography and continue studying while you are engaged professionally. A part-time program is characterized by weekend or evening modules at the business school. An online or blended program will combine face-to-face sessions in different locations over a 1-2 week period. An EMBA is similar, the biggest difference is the profile of candidates who have 5+ years of work experience at a management level.

What is the difference between Full-time, Part-time, Online and Executive MBA (EMBA) degrees? Which one makes most sense for you?

A number of you coming to Touch MBA for school selection help are considering multiple MBA program formats so I thought it would be good to dedicate one short episode to covering key differences from an admissions, curriculum, career and reputation perspective.
